Project London
In November 2008, 15-20 high school students from Austria will have the chance to visit Austrian Holocaust Survivors in Great Britain.
They will spend a week together in London where each student will visit a number of Austria Holocaust Survivors in order to learn about and document their biographies.
The students who will be participating in this part of the project will be chosen by the Project Team based on their previous participation in A Letter to the Stars. Interested students should send an email with the subject Project London with their application by the end of September.
Every meeting between the students and Survivors will be documented in the Living Memorial. The students will be writing weblogs of their experiences during the trip. Shortly after returning they will write the biographies of the Survivors. The interviews between the students and the survivors will be filmed and also made available online in the Living Memorial.
